When you or a loved one is poorly it's an anxious time, you want to receive the best care possible. That's why we fundraise - to make things better for our patients, their families and the staff who treat them.
We support the full range of routine and specialist services, from cancer to cardiac, trauma to children and across the spectrum of ground breaking research at University Hospital, Coventry and the Hospital of St Cross, Rugby; as well as our local mental healthcare, learning disability services and community services managed by Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust.
Charitable donations are key to making us what we are.
“Children with cerebral palsy are at high risk of getting pneumonia, and death, especially during bed rest after surgery on their legs. The Charity funded a vest that electronically pummels a child's chest it is the most effective way in preventing this from happening” Dr Van de Pleug, Trauma and Orthopaedics
“I spent three days staring up at the ceiling, going out of my mind, unable to move or see anyone. Thanks to this mechanical chair, funded by the Charity, I have been able to get up, sit up and talk to people. It is a massive improvement” Alan Cranfield, patient
“The degree of accuracy we can get using this innovative Davinci surgical robot is second to none and we are really excited that, thanks to our Charity, we can offer this cutting edge surgery to our patients.” Consultant Urologist, Mr Donald MacDonald.
