The Lullaby Trust exists to keep babies safe and to keep grieving families supported. We do this by funding life-saving research, empowering families with expert baby safety advice and supporting grieving families through their darkest days.
We have played a key role in reducing the number of babies who die from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) by 80%, saving 30,000 babies’ lives. But 9 babies still die suddenly and unexpectedly every week. We won’t give up until this number is zero.
The Lullaby Trust supports bereaved families through our helpline and befriending scheme, and works with local healthcare providers to deliver the Care of Next Infant programme (CONI) which offers a lifeline to bereaved families expecting a new baby.
Each year we train thousands of health professionals to support parents in baby safety. We campaign tirelessly to raise awareness of SIDS, infection prevention, and baby product information to ensure our life-saving advice reaches millions of families.
