The Frome Community Trust raises money to fund capital projects which develop community facilities in Frome and the local area. Since its launch in the year 2000, the lottery has enabled the Trust to give grants to more than 75 local groups and organisations. Please help us to support the further development of our very special town.
Since the start of the lottery grants of over £75,000 have been given to support community projects in Frome. This has only been possible because of the local people who regularly enter the Frome community lottery. Players have a weekly chance to win a prize of £25,000, or other smaller prizes.
All the proceeds of our lottery, apart from a small amount to pay our local authority licence, is given out to local organisations to develop community facilities in Frome. Monies are given out annually by a process of grant applications made by local groups. In recent years, lottery funds have supported projects by helping to fund, for example, a new boiler for the theatre, laptops to support the organisation of voluntary community transport , sports equipment to improve community access to local clubs, and toys and games for a toy lending library .
Join us now to have a chance of winning, and support Frome at the same time.
