Child Bereavement UK

Every day in the UK, 111 children are bereaved of their mum or dad, and 21 babies, children and young people die, leaving families devastated by bereavement. The impact of bereavement on children, young people, parents and families cannot be underestimated.

At Child Bereavement UK our aim is for all families to have the support they need when a child grieves or when a child dies. Our Make A Difference Draw will raise vital funds to help make this vision a reality.

When you play, you’ll be helping to ensure that no one affected by child bereavement grieves alone. Thank you.

Family Holiday Charity

Family Holiday Charity helps families get time away together, often for the first time ever. We're here for children who have never seen the sea. For teenagers who can't remember when they last saw mum smile. For parents having to choose between a day out and a pair of school shoes. For young carers, grandparent carers. For families facing illness, isolation, or bereavment.

Holidays open up new possibilities. There's time enough to share a laugh, watch the tide come in, and make happier memories.

When frontline care proffessionals make a referal, we help each family choose the UK holiday they need. It could be a caravan on the coast, a woodland adventure, or a day out at a theme park.

Whatever the weather, if it means time spent together, even a day's holiday helps build relationships, confidence, a stronger sense of community, and hope for the future.

More than 2.2m families in the UK can't get away on holiday. By playing our lottery, you're creating the time and space for mums, dads, carers and children to make lasting memories that make a lifetime of difference for families facing really tough times.

Omega... Ending Isolation | Ending Loneliness

Omega is a registered charity dedicated to reducing social isolation and loneliness.

We offer Chatterbox, a free telephone befriending service and Letterbox, a free penpal befriending service.

Although Omega was founded as a specialist end of life care charity in 2007, our work has gradually refocused over the years, to reflect the needs of our clients. We discovered that while not all of them are dealing with end of life issues, the one thing that unites them is a daily struggle with feelings of isolation and loneliness.

We now offer our services to anyone aged 18 or over, living in the UK.

Omega is run from a small head office in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, but our services are open to clients throughout the UK. Our work is made possible by an ever-growing team of generous and varied volunteers.

The Lullaby Trust

The Lullaby Trust is a charity that saves babies’ lives and supports bereaved families. Around 4 babies a week still die from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and we are committed to bringing that number down to zero.

Through educating parents on how they can reduce the risk of SIDS and investing over £12 million in research, we have played a key role in reducing the number of babies who die from SIDS by 80%, saving the lives of more than 20,000 babies.

Each year we train thousands of health professionals to support parents in sleeping their baby safely, and reach millions of families with our vital safer sleep advice. We campaign tirelessly to raise awareness of SIDS and ensure our life saving advice reaches all parents.

The Lullaby Trust supports bereaved families, through our helpline and befriending scheme. We work with local healthcare providers to deliver the Care of Next Infant Programme (CONI) which offers a lifeline to bereaved families expecting a new baby.
